I have always known it was my calling from the Lord to homeschool my kids. I finished college with a Bachelor's in Science (expecting to begin a career outside of the home), but I never truly felt ready to move away from teaching my children. We tried traditional school for a couple of years, and realized it wasn't fulfilling the needs of my children.

I have a passion for people. There are so many incredible people on this Earth, and it is such a joy getting to meet so many of them. My motto is to always leave things better than you found them, including the hearts and minds of others. I created this group to find connection, support and encouragement from those who are walking through the same season of life.

My husband and I co-own a Property Management Company where we assist investors in purchasing and managing their properties, while maintaining an excellent relationship with the tenants. Additionally, I am a licensed REALTOR in Tennessee. I'm always available to answer any questions!

WHO ARE WE?
Blackman Homeschoolers is a group of homeschool families who get together multiple times a month for educational and fun field trips, social gatherings, and hang outs. We are full of homeschooling families who support and encourage one another while we all walk through these homeschool years together. Additionally, the meet-ups are an excellent way for your children to meet new friends and for you to connect with other homeschooling parents.
